Hi! I'm Brittney—a wife, mama, coffee lover, and soon-to-be your biggest cheerleader.
I'm a mom to eight beautiful babies: four in Heaven and four here at home, and I've been blessed to be married to my wonderful husband since 2014. We live in Lake Forest, Illinois, where our days are filled with laughter, adventure, faith, and plenty of organized chaos.
When I'm not chasing my kids, you'll probably find me curled up with a great book, spending a Holy Hour with Jesus, praying the Rosary, playing pickleball, or gathered around a table with my closest girlfriends for coffee and Bible study. I also happen to love a good prank—because I truly believe laughter is one of God's greatest gifts.
I could listen to birth stories for hours. Every birth is sacred, every family is unique, and every baby is an incredible gift from God.
As your doula, my greatest joy is creating a peaceful, prayer-filled space where you and your husband feel seen, supported, and confident. My mission is to help you welcome your little one with faith, calm, and courage—and to be your comfort queen through every contraction, every prayer, and every beautiful moment of your birth.

In the wild, when an elephant enters labor, she is never left to face it alone. The other females of the herd instinctively gather around her, forming a protective circle. They stand watch, shield her from danger, and remain close until both mother and baby are safely welcomed into the world. It is a powerful image of feminine strength, tenderness, and self-giving love.
At Amoris Laetitia Birthing, we believe motherhood was never meant to be a solitary journey. Just as God designed the herd to surround and protect a laboring mother, He calls us to accompany one another through the sacred seasons of life. Birth is not merely a medical event—it is a profound participation in God's creative work and a beautiful expression of a woman's vocation.
Rooted in Catholic faith and guided by prayer, I offer calm, compassionate support throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Every family is welcomed with reverence for their unique story, honoring both the dignity of the mother and the precious gift of the child she carries.
Like the watchful herd, I seek to create a peaceful circle of support around each mother—offering encouragement, practical guidance, prayerful presence, and steadfast care. My hope is that you enter birth knowing you are not alone, but lovingly accompanied by your family, your faith, and a community committed to helping you welcome new life with confidence, peace, and joy.
